Research, Development and Documentation (RDD) Team

ACSDE has a robust research team made up of persons from the academia and the industry. Continuously, our research team are investigating different ways of dealing with the subject of skills development. Their research extends to identifying new skills, relevant skills to the various sectors and new models of managing apprenticeship and cooperatives. They are also looking at how entrepreneurship can be incorporated into every skill as a way of growing the SME’s in a national economy. The following are the credentials of our research team;

 Engr. Ernest D. Levert is a Senior Staff Manufacturing Engineer Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas, United States of America. Engr. Levert is an internationally recognized Welding Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) who specializes in Laser and Electron Beam Welding Technologies. He joined Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control in Dallas, Texas in 1986 as a Welding Engineer in the Manufacturing Engineering department. For the past twenty years, he has singularly written procedures and developed policies and processes that provide essential structural integrity and allow verifiable and secure access to foreign markets for many Lockheed Martin products. As a result of his innovative solutions, he has helped to put Lockheed Martin in the forefront of welding sciences.

Prof. Ebunilo Patrick 0.B (PhD, MNSE, COREN Reg, FNIPES) is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering Design and Manufacture, Department of Mechanical Engineering, University of Benin. Has over 80 academic publications in international, national and local publications. A specialist in the use of appropriate technologies for the local design and development of machines and systems in Nigeria. Has designed and developed over 150 machines and technologies at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels for agricultural, domestic food processing, energy and power sectors of the Nigerian economy. Currently, chairman NIW board of examiners. Married with 3 children.

Prof. J.A. Imasuen, is a Professor in the Department of Animal Science, University of Benin, Benin City. He teaches courses in animal nutritional and reproductive physiology both at the undergraduate and post-graduate level in the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Benin, Nigeria. Prof.  Imasuen’s research areas focus mainly on nutritional physiology and reproductive physiology. His over fifty journals articles, conference papers and seminars has focused mainly in the areas of the relationship between nutrition and reproduction in our indigenous livestock, since it has been scientifically proven that one of the major limitations in Nigerian livestock industry is poor reproductive performance of our indigenous livestock due to poor plain of nutrition. However, of recent his research interest shifted to the area of improving livestock productivity through the harnessing of available reproductive biotechnology.

Engr. Omonigho Benedict Otanocha is a registered engineer, with a Ph. D (Mechanical Engineering), from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom He is a Corporate Member of the Nigeria Society of Engineers (NSE), with over 18years cognate technical experience in the industry, such as DUNLOP Group of Companies, PAMOL (Nig) Ltd, and 10 years teaching and competency training practice. His skills and interests are in Advanced Manufacturing Technology (Laser Based Manufacturing), Sustainable Production Systems, CAD/CAM, Re-manufacture, Mechanical Design/Modeling, Artificial Intelimplementedutions and Enterprise Development. Omonigho is an academic staff of the Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun (FUPRE), and heads FUPRE Consult Ltd, Office of the Vice Chancellor – FUPRE (having served as Ag. Head of Mechanical Engineering Department between July 2016 and July 2018).

Chamberlain OKOROZE is a Project Manager with over five years of progressive experience in Information Technology and Telecommunication sectors. Certified in PRINCE2 and Scaled Agile, with expertise in leading cross functional teams in different countries using waterfall and Agile methodologies. A natural collaborator who consistently delivers value according to set constraints.

İ. Özgür Akçam is an internationally satisfied Welding engineer with expertise in Welding processes, Armoured Combat Vehicle project, Assault Bridge Project, and the founder GSI SLV-TR Welding Technology Test and Occupational Improvement Center. He is married with children.

Ajiri Okoroze is a data-driven IT Professional with progressive international experience in Information Management and Business Intelligence solutions, with key strengths in strategy development and product management.
